We feel proud to share that GLBIMR recently achieved another milestone by making its way through a prestigious association with a leading, one of its kind International Network Platform – Global Compact Network India (GCNI). GLBIMR proudly announces its membership with The Global Compact Network India (GCNI), the Indian arm of United Nations Global compact (UNGC), New York. The Global Compact Network India was formed by the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) participant companies from India. Global Compact Network (GCN) provides an extremely relevant vehicle for Indian Companies- Large & SME, Academic institutions and Civil Society organizations to join hands towards strengthening responsible business initiatives in India and Internationally. This is a vibrant platform for Indian Institutes to institutionalize ten universal principles covering Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption. Currently it has 350 signatories and 250 members from India and more than 13500 members’ signatories in more than 167 nations worldwide.
The Network provides a high impact collective action platform by way of knowledge sharing and network meetings. Some of GCNI Indian Members are leading Institutes and Business chambers like IICA, IIFM, IIFT, CII, AIMA, ISTD, FICCI and NHRD.
