In continuation to its endeavour of providing global learning platforms to its students, GLBIMR organised a Global Talk Series by Dr. Djamchid Assadi, Professor, Burgundy School of Business, France on October 26, 2016 at its Greater Noida campus. This was an excellent opportunity provided to PGDM students by Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR to get an understanding of global research works.

Dr. Makkar expressed her gratitude to Dr. Assadi for taking out time from his busy schedule and travel all the way from France to share his words of wisdom and knowledge with the budding managers. She also encouraged the young minds to utilize this splendid opportunity and learn the issues and challenges of global economies and also gain insights on global research work. Dr. Makkar shared that GLBIMR will be conducting collaborative research projects with Dr. Assadi in which students will get an opportunity to participate and explore new avenues of research & development.

Dr. Assadi in his address talked about youth of India and the responsibility which these young minds have on their shoulders for developing the nation. He also discussed various business models adapted globally and its implications in designing business strategies. He shared about quadripartite business model during his session. Students participated enthusiastically and even shared their opinions and queries on various global trends and research methodology shared by Dr. Assadi.

This session provided wonderful insights related to global research platforms which will help them explore various opportunities in Research & Development.
