Expert Talk Series on “Stress Management for Becoming Successful Corporate Professional”
Maintaining a proper work life balance is one of the keystones to happiness and GLBIMR believes that in order to be a successful professional, it is very important for the students to learn maintaining a balance between academic schedule and personal life. The PGDM Batch 2016-18 is gearing up for their first ever corporate exposure through SIP programme, so to ease out the stress of students and to prepare them for the upcoming challenges, GLBIMR under the dynamic leadership of its visionary Director General, Dr. Urvashi Makkar, organized a unique Expert Talk Series on “Stress Management for Becoming Successful Corporate Professional” on February 07, 2017, where Mr. V.K Bansal, a renowned motivational trainer was the resource person.
Dr. Makkar welcomed Mr.Bansal and shared that this session will help the students in learning new ways to manage stress at work place which will contribute not only in increasing their productivity but also living a happy life throughout. Mr. V. K Bansal charmed the audience with his immense knowledge about success and happiness in life and how these two are interrelated to each other. He shared various anger management and stress management techniques with the students.
The session was designed to build self-awareness, resilience and to empower individuals to recognize workplace stress and tackle stress-related challenges at work through effective strategies. This session gave insights of the pressure at work place and how it can be dealt by maintaining proper balance. We are sure that the session released the stress levels of students leaving them more energized & charged up for the upcoming academic commitments.
