Special Yoga Session at GLBIMR.

At GLBIMR, the impetus is not only on academic development, but also nourishment of mind & soul to develop the students holistically. Under the leadership of Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General,GLBIMR; a unique initiative was taken by organizing a special Yoga session, “Yog se Nirog” for the students. The Yoga Expert for this session was Mr. Ramneesh Vatsa, an eminent Yogacharya, who has to his honour, several awards, accolades & recognition for his work and whose “yoga program” is aired everyday on Doordarshan channel at 9:20 am.
While welcoming the guest , Dr. Makkar shared that, Yoga can be of great help for students because it will help them in living stress free, making decisions, fighting peer pressure, concentrating on the right things and building a holistic personality. Mr. Ramneesh Vatsa, Who performed some amazing & very beneficial Yoga Aasana’s for the students, also shared the importance of Yoga in our lives. He taught some crucial Aasana’s, which would be quite beneficial for all. Students, Faculty & Staff members were left spell bound by the breath-taking yoga aasna’s shown by the guest and no doubts that everyone felt de-stressed & rejuvenated.
