Foundation Day Celebrations @GLBIMR on September 5, 2018.

Under the Visionary Guidance of Mr. Pankaj Agarwal, Vice Chairman, GL Bajaj Educational Institutions and the dynamic leadership of Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GL Bajaj Institute of Management & Research (GLBIMR) celebrated its 12th Foundation Day on September 5, 2018 with great allegiance. The day was marked by an auspicious “Hawan” Ceremony that was conducted in the campus in the august presence of Mr. Pankaj Agarwal, Vice Chairman, GLBIMR. Hymns and Mantras allured the positive energy as all faculty members, staff and students joined hands in prayers to seek God’s blessing. Students, Staff and Management of GLBIMR were full of pride and joy as GLBIMR celebrated its 12 years of establishment.

GLBIMR was established in the year 2007 and has thereupon embarked on a journey of imparting quality education to thousands of students and budding professionals. Our grandiose Chairman Shri Ram Kishore Agarwal Ji established the Institute on September 5, 2007, celebrating the spirit of Teachers’ Day. Dr. Urvashi Makkar while exhorting the faculty members, staff and students, explained the importance of Foundation Day and also the phenomenal role of Our Vice Chairman, Mr. Panjak Agarwal in the success of GLBIMR.

It is a pleasure to announce that GLBIMR is celebrating “Teachers Day” on Wednesday, September 5, 2018. The Celebration will be organized by the students of PGDM 2017-19 and PGDM 2018-20.

Teacher’s Day is celebrated in honor of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who was born on September 5, 1888.

Teachers shape the mind and bring significant changes in the lives of their students. We celebrate Teacher’s Day because teachers are the architect of the society and without them, no society can walk in the path of progression

Parichay – Fresher’s Party @ GLBIMR on August 03, 2018

The campus of GLBIMR was bustle with music, merriment, zest & glee when PGDM Batch 2017-19 welcomed the new Batch 2018-20 with a grand Fresher’s Party- “PARICHAY-2018”. Parichay aimed at cracking the ice between the seniors & juniors, making the new entrants relaxed and at comfort. To mark the commencement of the party, ceremonial lamp lighting was done by Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR along with students & faculty members. Dr. Makkar in her address extolled all the students for their wonderful performances and congratulated the winners. She appreciated the final year students for their efforts and openness in planning and preparing a grand fresher’s party.

Jovial smiles and high spirits marked the welcome party for the new entrants. The party manifested youthfulness and energy at its full flow. With pulsating ambiance, flashing lights and foot tapping music, the party began with a blast. As the mercury began to rise, the dance floor was left open for some unbridled energy. It was a fun-filled event in which the fresher’s got the opportunity not only to showcase their talents but also to interact with the seniors. The excitement augmented to a joyful high when the Fashion Show began. Contestants from the fresher’s batch vied for the Ms. Fresher and Mr. Fresher 2018 titles. The contest included several rounds involving singing, dancing, talent display, dress parade and the final question and answer round. Mr. Arpit Sharma & Ms. Jyoti Sharma were crowned as Mr. and Ms. Fresher 2018 and Mr. Lokesh Sharma & Ms. Anjali Chauhan were crowned as Mr. Handsome & Ms. Gorgeous 2018.

The gala event concluded with an extravagant DJ Party for the new batch. The heat on the dance floor was unabated and even towards the end the students were asking for more!!!

Vanmahotsav-Tree Plantation Drive

GL Bajaj Institute of Management & Research (GLBIMR) is organizing “Vanmahotsav-Tree Plantation Drive” on August 16, 2018, Saturday from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at GLBIMR campus.

The objective of the Tree Plantation Drive is to spread awareness on green dream amongst students and imbibe the culture of living in harmony with Mother Earth on a genuinely sustainable basis. The activity imbibed a sense of value of tree plantation, protection of the environment by making a pollution free earth.


Parichay- Freshers Party for PGDM Batch 2018-20

Sophomores of GLBIMR heartily invite the students of PGDM Batch 2018-20 to “Parichay-2018”. Students are strictly required to be in dignified “Indo-Ethnic” formal wear in the color code of “Blue & Pink”. The event will commence on Friday, August 03, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at SBG Hall.


International Yoga Day Celebrated at GLBIMR

International Yoga Day Celebrated at GLBIMR on June 21, 2018 at its Greater Noida Campus

GL Bajaj Institute of Management & Research (GLBIMR), Greater Noida celebrated 4th International Day of Yoga on June 21, 2018 by organizing a yoga session at its campus. This initiative was taken under the astute guidance of Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR in harmony of the National Initiative. The session was taken up by Mr. S. Ravi Chandran, renowned yoga expert. He shared the importance & relevance of Yoga Sadhna & Yog Mudras and demonstrated various yoga Aasana’s to the Students, Faculty & Staff members of GLBIMR. Dr. Makkar in her speech reinforced the importance of healthy lifestyle and importance of adapting Yoga as a part of daily routine activity. She shared that Yoga can be of great help to fight corporate pressure and to de-stress which will help them in building a holistic personality.

This session sensitized students, faculty and staff members about the importance of yoga and to participate in this unique collective Yoga experience – with hundreds of people in the same movement, the same respiration, at the same time and in the same rhythm.

Everyone appreciated the session & pledged to make Yoga, an integral part of life.
