13th Management Development Program (MDP) on “HR Analytics for Organizational Excellence” on February 16, 2019 at GLBIMR Campus-The Day has come!!
We are pleased to announce that GL Bajaj Institute of Management & Research (GLBIMR) is organizing 13thManagement Development Program (MDP) on “HR Analytics for Organizational Excellence” on February 16, 2019. This is yet another excellent initiative taken under the transformational leadership of Mr. Pankaj Agarwal, Vice Chairman, GL Bajaj Educational Institutions and Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR.
This MDP aims to sensitize participants about Human Resource Analytics – its scope, importance, and equip them with the knowledge of the techniques and tools of HR analytics, along with their application. The participants will also learn the usage of various Human Resource metrics in all functions of HR to bring organizational improvement.

Participative Learning Program on “Student Engagement in Management Education” @ GLBIMR on February 13, 2019
GL Bajaj Institute of Management and Research, Greater Noida (GLBIMR) organized Participative Learning Program on “Student Engagement in Management Education” @ GLBIMR on February 13, 2019 under the prudent guidance of Mr. Pankaj Agarwal, Vice Chairman, GL Bajaj Educational Institutions. Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR shared that the objective of the program is to enable the faculty members in identifying and applying the innovative pedagogical tools to improve students’ engagement in Management Education.
The Expert Resource Persons for this was Mr. Ashish Patel, Managing Director, MorganFranklin, Consulting, McLean, USA who carries with himself a diversified experience in International & National Marketing Sphere with more than 21 years of experience in IT Strategy, Digital Transformation and Financial Technology. Mr. Patel conducted hands-on learning sessions to equip the faculty members with effective class handling techniques.
The initiative was lauded upon by GLBIMR fraternity!!
The key areas of focus for this educative workshop are :
Defining the need to know one’s rights and an introduction detailing Fundamental rights, the concept of gender equality
Equality At Work and at Home which details the legal rights and framework for sexual harassment, POCSO, Domestic Violence, Divorce, Alimony and Inheritance
Cybersafety which includes cyberstalking, bullying and how the law deals with it.
The module, in addition, will help define the Rights one should know regarding the Police and the definition of Consent as provided by law.
Through this session, we not only wish to inspire the audience but also want to equip them with the right legal tools so that they don’t hesitate from voicing their concerns. Our sole belief lies in the empowerment of the youth of the country.

Mr. Pankaj Agarwal, the Vice-Chairman of the Institute extended a warm welcome to all the members for sparing their valuable time for the Academic Advisory Board meeting. He acknowledged their contributions and expressed hope that the Institute shall continue to receive their guidance, support and cooperation.
Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General highlighted the efforts made towards the progress of GLBIMR during last academic year (2018-19) and also highlighted the achievements of the GLBIMR, Innovative pedagogical tools for program delivery, Curriculum Revision as per the Corporate Requirements, Inclusion of new courses in the current course structure, Enhancing Research Orientation amongst faculty members, Introducing new research policies of GLBIMR, Measures to meet the Program Objectives and Program Outcomes, Value added Certification programs for students, Skill Enhancement Programs for students with focus on Corporate Readiness, Faculty Development Programs and Faculty Orientation Programs etc.Dr. Urvashi Makkar also shared the rankings, awards and accolades by various leading magazines and agencies.The meeting witnessed highly interactive brainstorming with all members giving their worthy inputs and suggestions to improve Academic Quality of the Institute.
The latest edition of Nouvelle: Bi-Annual Magazine of GLBIMR which serves as a platform for the portrayal of the educational, cultural and industry interface of the Institute was also unveiled during the Academic Advisory Board Meeting.
Goddess Saraswati is the Deity of learning, wisdom, education and knowledge, so on the occasion of Basant Panchami GLBIMR family sought blessings of Goddess Saraswati by performing traditional “Puja”. Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR lighted the lamp along with all members of GLBIMR family and wished everyone that Goddess Saraswati bestow all with lots of wisdom, learning and knowledge. She also shared that an Educational Institute is the temple of knowledge and at GLBIMR we continuously try to keep the sanity of this temple intact by providing best knowledge and ethical learning environment. Saraswati Puja is just another attempt by the Institute to preserve the Indian culture and to impart a sense of respect towards long-established traditions.
Basant Panchami also signifies the onset of spring, so let us all welcome the arrival of the new eternal spring and hope for a new spiritual awakening and enlightenment.
