GL Bajaj Institute of Management and Research, Greater Noida, organized 3rd International Conference on “Digitization, Innovation and Disruption: Keys to Achieving Global Competitiveness (ICDID 2k18)” on Saturday, September 15, 2018, where around 400 International & National delegates participated. The mega event was inaugurated by Mr. Pankaj Agrawal, Vice Chairman, GL Bajaj Educational Institutions, Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR along with the elite guests.
The Conference witnessed the presence of renowned experts from corporate & academia and more than 100 research papers were presented in the technical sessions which brought together academicians, researchers, practitioners and research students from around the world.

GLBIMR Students participated in Case Study Analysis Competition held at BIMTECH
To provide a forum for the students to experience real-world business problems through case preparations and learn from the diverse perspectives of peer contestants, GLBIMR students of PGDM Batch 2017-19 participated in Case Analysis Competition 2018-19 at Birla Institute of Management Technology, Greater Noida on 5th September 2018.
The Students presented their analysis at the Centre for Management Case Development (CMCD) at BIMTECH to the elite panel of judges. Vaishnavi Walia & Vaibhav Saxena from GLBIMR reached the final round and secured the Second Position in “Case Study Analysis Competition 2018-19”. They were awarded a cash prize of Rs 8000/-. The competition enhanced the business acumen of the students and their outstanding achievement is a reflection of the reinforcement of Corporate Readiness at the institute.

It’s a pleasure to share that, under the great initiative by Capital First in association with GLBIMR, one of our students, Pradeep Suhag of PGDM Batch 2018-20 has received a Scholarship grant of Rs 2,00,000 (Rs. 1,00,000 each year), in the Capital First Scholarship Program.
Pradeep has been selected by the jury/panel of Capital First on the basis of the guidelines of the program.
We congratulate Pradeep and wish for his success!
GLBIMR, empanelled as one of the few premiere management institutes under the Capital First Scholarship Program, has extended this opportunity to PGDM students Puja Mishra, Atul Gupta, Naveen Kumar Yadav and Rashi Sharma, making it a total of 05 students of Batch 2018-20 to have received this prestigious scholarship.
8 Students of PGDM Batch 2017-19, Abha Priya, Shivam Chaurasia, Divyanshu Porwal, Akashdeep, Ravikant Tiwari, Hira Ovais, Shrishti Singh and Ishan Mudhgal have already received this prestigious scholarship last year.
The objectives of the workshop is to improve the skills and significantly reduce test anxiety and pressure of the students during placements.
GLBIMR’s Marketing Club organized Marketing Quiz and Ad-Mad Competition – “M.O.M” (Mad Over Marketing) on October 12,2018.
With an aim to intensify ingeniousness and creativity in students to portray the world as perceived by their young minds, GLBIMR’s Marketing Club organized an event “M.O.M” (Mad Over Marketing), a blend of Marketing Quiz and Ad-Mad Competition on Friday, October 12, 2018 under the guidance of Mr. Pankaj Agarwal, Vice Chairman, GL Bajaj Educational Institutions and Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR. The event witnessed amazing engagement of students from both the batches who participated in Marketing Quiz & Ad–Mad Show with enthusiasm. Faculty Coordinator, Dr. Arpita Srivastava and Ms. Radhika Malhotra, led the activity with the objective to churn out fresh talent with vibrant innovative ideas, skills and concepts.
The activity was divided into two phases. In phase 1, Marketing Quiz was conducted to test the knowledge of the participants beyond academics. In Phase 2, Ad-Mad Show was conducted to showcase the creativity in Marketing products and services with various rounds to judge the level of knowledge which comprises of humorous & conceptual advertisement presentation by the students. The performances were evaluated on the basis of spontaneity, content and adherence to the topic, on-stage presentation, coordination and overall appeal of the advertisement.
Anshika Tripathi, Himanshu Mishra, Jaya Mishra and Lokesh Sharma of PGDM Batch 2018-20 were the winners of the event while the First Runners-Up award was shared by Adarsh kesarwani, Komal kesarwani, Adil Siddiqui and Mahima Yadav in Phase 1 (Marketing Quiz). The winners of phase 2 (Ad-Mad Show) were Ankit Tiwari, Amish Iqbal, Anmol Raj and Abhishek. The First Runners-Up were Sakshi Singh, Palak Mehrotra, Neha Singh, Shobha Pramanik and Priyanka Mohanty. Dr. Urvashi Makkar awarded certificates to all the Winners of Marketing Quiz and Ad-Mad Competition and appreciated students for their enthusiastic participation. She shared that such club activities will help them to develop confident viewpoint and intelligence.

Sankalp is an Annual Inter Institute Cultural Festival, which is a unique confluence of art, music, culture & thoughts, depicting the rich heritage & culture of India. It’s a celebration of the colors of life of each one of us.
Sankalp is organized by GL Bajaj Institute of Management and Research (GLBIMR), Greater Noida at the outset of winters every year. Participants from various institutes across Delhi-NCR, showcase their talents and participate in the on-stage and off-stage events for. GLBIMR organizes “Sankalp “with the objective of providing a platform to young and budding talent by recognizing & rewarding them.
Last year the event witnessed a grand participation of over 600 students from Delhi NCR, this year we are expecting more than 1000 students, who will come together & celebrate the cultural diversity of India.
The objective of this activity is to increase realization of criticality of creativity to achieve excellence and to enable the participants to touch and discover the magic of personality analysis.
