Under the pioneering leadership of Mr. Pankaj Agarwal, Vice Chairman, GL Bajaj Educational Institutions & stewardship of Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GL Bajaj Institute of Management & Research (GLBIMR), successfully organized Global Talk Series on “Management of Technology, Innovation & Change -30 Hours Course Module” from September 06-13, 2018. Ceremonial Lamp lighting by Mr. Pankaj Agrawal, Vice Chairman, Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General along with the Expert Speaker, Mr. Ashish Patel, Managing Director, Morgan Franklin Consulting, McLean, VA, USA marked the inauguration of the highly intellectual event. The highly interactive session involving experiential learning was extremely engaging participating for the students.
Mr. Ashish Patel, who carries with himself a diversified experience in International & National Marketing Sphere, brought a varied array of insights to the campus, making the students well versed with the latest Technology & Innovations across the globe. He also provided students with a foundation for understanding the management of technology, innovation and change in the context of the dynamic business environment of the present era for effective and efficient decision making.
During the valedictory session, Dr. Urvashi Makkar extended her gratitude to Mr. Patel for the excellent learning’s that will help the young managers to face the challenges of leading the change management process needed to embrace in the dynamic business world of today.
During the Valedictory session of Global Talk Series ,Information Brochure of GLBIMR was also unveiled. The subject MTIC, with 3 Course Credits & 30 Hours of duration, is amongst the unique offerings of the institute, benchmarking our curriculum with best of the Business Schools in India. GLBIMR Student got Rs 2,00,000 Scholarship from Capital First Limited
It’s a pleasure to share that, under the great initiative by Capital First in association with GLBIMR, one of our students, Atul Gupta of PGDM Batch 2018-20 has received a Scholarship grant of Rs 2,00,000 (Rs. 1,00,000 each year), in the Capital First Scholarship Program. Atul has been selected by the jury/panel of Capital First on the basis of the guidelines of the program.

CSR Club @ GLBIMR organized “Swacchta Pledge” and Poster Making & Slogan Competition on “Swacchta Awareness” on September 20 & 25, 2018
GL Bajaj Institute of Management and Research, Greater Noida (GLBIMR) successfully organized “Swacchta Pledge” and Poster Making & Slogan Competition on “Swacchta Awareness” on September 20 & 25, 2018 under the dynamic leadership of Mr. Pankaj Agarwal, Vice Chairman, GL Bajaj Educational Institutions and Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR. Students participated with great enthusiasm and carried out several activities during the cleanliness awareness to motivate one and all.
Several teams of students from PGDM Batch 2017-19 & PGDM Batch 2018-10 participated in full swing and came up with very vibrant and thoughtful creations displaying the message of “Swacchta”. The posters were evaluated on the basis of Originality of Work, Aesthetics of Display, Clarity of thoughts, Knowledge and relevance of Slogans and Presentation.
The winners of activity were: Vaibhav Saxena, Vibhu Rastogi, Shruti Priya and Shruti Srivastava – PGDM Batch 2017-19 while the First Runners-Up award was shared byVikram Singh, Satyam Yadav, Vineet Tomar and Shweta Rani – PGDM Batch 2018-20. Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR, conferred certificates to all the Winners of “Swacchta Awareness Poster Making and Slogan Competition” and appreciated this initiative. She shared that such activities are for self-learning. The event came as a reflection of how young minds perceive the social issues with utmost importance and how keen they are to make a difference.
