ROUND 1 – Total Recall
The round checks the participants’ business acumen and how much can they really recall.
ROUND 2 – Snapshot- Look beyond the Obvious
A picture will be shown and the participants will have to connect the past, present and future.
GLBIMR Students at the CII Insurance Conference on October 25, 2017
Under the umbrella of Corporate Interface Series initiated by Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR, PGDM 2016-18 Batch students participated in the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Insurance Conference at Hotel Le Meridian, New Delhi.
The session focused on how to leverage data to be integrated and discovered to give new unexplored insights and touched upon the synergies that can be derived from “fintechs” to provide external unstructured data, data visualization techniques and artificial intelligence / analytics. Another session on the theme “Driving omnichannel contextual customer experience” was conducted on customer experience strategy that can help insurers address this challenge.
It was an enriching experience for the aspiring managers of GLBIMR and they look forward to take their learning with them in their career ahead.
One Day Certification Workshop on “Financial Analysis & Decision Making: Managerial Perspective” aims at developing the ability of participants to understand the implication of financial numbers and analysis on decision making across functional areas of business.
