GLBIMR conducted Industrial Visit at Anmol Industries on July 27, 2018
Under the guidance of Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR organized an Industrial visit for the students of PGDM Batch 2017–19 at Anmol Industries on July 27, 2018 at their Greater Noida Manufacturing Unit. In continuance with the ongoing Industrial Interface, the objective of the visit was to expose our students to the production and packaging process of FMCG products.
The Training & Development team of the company addressed our students and shared a detailed presentation on the Journey of Anmol Industries, its Production, Distribution Network and Marketing Strategies. Students were taken on a guided plant visit and were explained about the production & operation process of Anmol products. Students interacted with the staff in raw material, production, packaging and quality control department. They also got the opportunity to discover the challenges of a Manufacturing Unit, especially the ones dealing in a product having a specified/limited shelf life. Students gained in terms of Operational and Management skills required in the manufacturing process of a company. This visit induced GLBIMR-ians to understand the innovative offerings of the institute to enhance their skills as dynamic management professionals.
GLBIMR Students participated in Aaj Tak Debate Show- “Halla Bol” & “Takkar”, Broadcasted Live on National Television, organized by The India Today Group on July 21, 2018
The students of GL Bajaj Institute of Management & Research of PGDM Batch 2018–20 participated in Aaj Tak Debate Show- “Halla Bol & Takkar”, a debate on “Poor Response to No Confidence Motion” on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at The India Today Group Office “Mediaplex”, Noida. The event was a part of the ongoing Corporate Interface Series (CIS) initiated under the guidance of Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR.
The distinguished speakers of the debate includes Mr. Sambhik Patra, National Spokesperson – Bharatiya Janata Party, Mr. Ghanshyam Tiwari, National Spokesperson – Samajwadi Party and Mr. Rajeev Tyagi, Spokesperson – Indian National Congress. Students of GLBIMR actively participated in the debate and asked questions from the panel of national leaders related to the issues of Social Unrest, Lok Pal Bill, Communalism, Womens Safety & Security. In addition to this, students also got the chance to introduce themselves to Senior Politicians and Media persons adding to their experience of personal and professional networking. This visit catalyzed GLBIMR-ians to understand the innovative offerings of the Institute to enhance their skills as dynamic management professionals.
