GLBIMR under the astute guidance of Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director, General, GLBIMR organized Faculty Orientation Program on June 27, 2017 to nurture the intellectual assets of GLBIMR, Greater Noida. The theme of faculty orientation was “Pedagogical Innovations through Academic Excellence”. The agenda of the Program included rigorous brainstorming sessions for innovative pedagogy, value added certification courses, skill enhancement programs, research methodology included in summer internship & dissertation.

GLBIMR organized Faculty Orientation Program, for its faculty members on the theme –“Pedagogical Innovations through Academic Excellence”, on June 27, 2017. GLBIMR is known for reinventing Management Education through pedagogical innovations and this orientation program was completely in sync with the same. The Orientation program was another brainchild of the visionary guidance of Mr. Pankaj Agarwal, Vice Chairman, GL Bajaj Group of Institutions and academic acumen of Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General.
Our esteemed Director General, Dr. Urvashi Makkar,GLBIMR welcomed the Faculty Members and shared the vision of the Institute and her expectations from the faculty members to achieve academic excellence. She also elaborated the importance of quality management education in skill enhancement and shared intellectual ideas to raise the academic performance index.
The agenda included rigorous brainstorming sessions for innovative pedagogy, value added certification courses, skill enhancement programs, research methodology included in summer internship & dissertation. The orientation program focused on, sensitizing the faculty members on using advance technology in PGDM program delivery, resulting in overall globally oriented development, skill enhancement & employability of the students. This Orientation program witnessed meticulous discussions and reforms regarding the subject matter. During the orientation program constructive discussion was held on Pedagogical innovations and a roadmap was created for the coming academic session.

It is a matter of great pride & honour to share that Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR has been invited to participate in the UK India Education & Research Initiative (UKIERI)’s “Further Education Leadership Development Programme” (FELDP 2017), by AICTE on June 28 – June 30, 2017. FELDP is developing leadership and management skills of elite education institutes, enabling them to build the systems and processes necessary for their future sustainability.

It gives us immense pleasure to share that G L Bajaj Institute of Management & Research, Greater Noida (GLBIMR), is organizing The Induction Program – 2017 for the newly admitted PGDM Batch 2017-19 on “Corporate Expectations and Insights for Aspiring Managers” from July 10-14, 2017.
The Induction Program aims to provide direction to the young minds and enlighten them about how to focus their energies during the PGDM program so as to get maximum benefit out of the program. The main objective of this program is to sensitize the young budding managers with the pragmatic experiences of the corporate world and its expectations from them in the challenging and changing Global scenario. There will be Corporate Expert Knowledge Sharing Sessions each day where, 3-4 panelists in each session will be sharing their views on the theme, “Corporate Expectations and Insights for Aspiring Managers”.

Media Coverage on International Day of Yoga at GLBIMR
GLBIMR under the sagacious guidance of Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director, General, GLBIMR organized 3rd International Yoga Day on 21st June 2017. Ms Vibha Gupta, Yoga demonstrator of Lok Sabha Channel was the Eminent Guest for conducting Special Yoga session. She illustrated the benefits of yoga, that how practicing of yoga enables a person to manage stress, which is also known to have devastating effects on the body and mind. Students, Faculty & staff also participated in yoga session to avail the benefits of yoga.
