BSE Certification program @ GLBIMR from August 26,2016 to August 28,2016 #GLBAJAJ #GLBIMR #BESTBSCHOOL #PGDM #BSCHOOL GLBIMR under the astute guidance of Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR, has organized a 30 hours Certification Program on “Basic Course on Stock Market” conducted by BSEIL, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bombay Stock Exchange. The first 20 hours of training session are going to be held from August 26- August 28, 2016 . The objective of the program is to help students those who are willing to pursue their career in Stock Market or in the Banking and Financial Institutions in future. The BSE expert trainers will impart training on Primary and Secondary markets, Fundamental and Technical analysis, Trading Clearing and Settlement, Sensex and other indices through theoretical knowledge and hand-on experience of live projects related to stock trading. This certification will provide the real time knowledge of stock trading and other financial instruments and it will open the whole new opportunity to the students in the domain of financial market in India and Abroad.
Visit to National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) By GLBIMR students on August 23rd,2016
Under the auspices of Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General GLBIMR, PGDM 1ST year batch (2016-2018) got the golden opportunity to attend event on “Entrepreneurship Orientation Program” at NSIC (National Small Industries Corporation) on August 23rd 2016 at National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) Premises along with faculties, Dr. Hemlata Bhat, Ms. Bhuvnehswari, Dr. Bindu Singh, and Mr. Vishal Kamra. The objectives of NSIC visit was gaining insight about self employment ,entrepreneurship, development of new small enterprise by way of providing hands-on training on working projects, to boost the development of small enterprises and the manufacturing sector.
The experts of NSIC provided information to PGDM students of entrepreneur for various programmes. It offered knowledge about computer training, automobiles, electrical department & incubator.
The technical staff provided information on various projects like bread making project, biscuit making project, computer embroidery, fashion designing/ tailoring , noodle making machine , paper napkin making machine , soya milk making project, soft toys making project, wax candle machine , toilet paper making project etc.
A classroom session was also conducted by them for the students on entrepreneurship orientation program. It was a great learning experience for the participants as they got acquainted with new edification. The students also participated in the question and answer session gaining appreciation. It was an incredible exposure and remarkable learning experience for the students.
This industrial visit contributed to the holistic development of PGDM students and provided them with a treasure of insights which they can cherish throughout their lives.
In continuation to GLBIMR Achievements during Summer Internship programme ,we feel proud to share that our PGDM Batch 2015-17 Student – Shivani Tyagi has been appreciated for her excellent performance during her Summer Internship Project at Kotak Mahindra bank.Her Industry mentor was delighted with her professional behavior and hard work.

I feel fortunate to be part of GLBIMR which is led by charismatic Director General, Dr.Urvashi Makkar. I am very privileged to get a chance to attend the Induction program and listen to eminent speakers like Dr. Binod Kumar, Dr. S Jagota, Mr. Sudhir Zutshi and Mr VK Bansal. We also got the opportunity to listen to our alumni Mr. Rohit Gandotra who guided about how we should work hard and utilize our two years to achieve success in long run.
These three days enlightened me on how should I keep my learnings focused towards achieving my goals and how can I utilize every opportunity so that I can overcome my weakness and can achieve success in long run.

Fresher’s Party @ GLBIMR on August 20,2016 GLBajaj GLBIMR BestBschool PGDM BSchool Under the aegis of Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR, Greater Noida, a grand fresher’s party “PARICHAY-2016” was organized in the campus. As per the tradition, the senior batch welcomed the junior batch in an Indian Ethnic themed party. All the students dazzled in their best outfits and the institute gave a glimpse of cosmopolitan Indian culture. The fresher’s party started with welcome address by Dr. Urvashi Makkar, who welcomed the new batch with cheerful warmth and appreciated the final year students for their efforts and sincerity in arranging a grand fresher’s party. Dr. Kirti Dutta, Dean GLBIMR also welcomed the new batch and encouraged them to utilize the time at GLBIMR and get the best learnings for a lifetime. The fresher’s party was a day filled with talent, music, excitement and enthusiasm. Students displayed their hidden talents in the cultural events. There were beautifully choreographed dance performances by Brunette Group, Chillers Group, Pragya and Ankita and group dance performance by Bollywood Mazaa. Vocal singing performances by Sumit, Soul Singer group, Jaltarang Group mesmerized the audience with their melodious voices. A fresher’s party remains incomplete without the traditional “Miss / Mr. Fresher contest” and Parichay also witnessed a gala fresher’s contest. After breathtaking ramp show and various talent rounds, Simrat Abbot was declared Miss Fresher’s while Mr. Fresher title was given to Dipankar Sarkar. Gucci Reena grabbed Miss Spark title and the counter title of Mr. Spark was given to Digvijay. The gala event concluded with an extravagant DJ Party for the new batch. The energy on the dance floor was unabated and even towards the end the students were demanding for more!!! Second year students played their role of a wonderful host to the hilt and gave the First year students a day to remember.
