Faculty Orientation Program on the theme – “Pedagogical Innovations through Academic Excellence”, on June 26, 2018 at GLBIMR
GL Bajaj Institute of Management & Research, Greater Noida organized Faculty Orientation Program on the theme – “Pedagogical Innovations through Academic Excellence”, on June 26, 2018 at its Greater Noida campus in order to foster a positive relationship between the faculty & the institution and to encourage the spirit of team work amongst its faculty members. This remarkable initiative was result of great acumen of Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR.
The agenda of this program was to familiarize new faculty members with Institutional Policy Framework, Code of conduct, Academic Structure and Teaching Pedagogy. Dr Makkar Shared that the orientation program focused on, sensitizing the faculty members on using advance technology in PGDM program delivery, resulting in overall globally oriented development, skill enhancement & employability of the students. The Orientation Program included rigorous brainstorming sessions for innovative pedagogy, value added certification courses, skill enhancement programs, research methodology included in summer internship & dissertation.
This Orientation program witnessed meticulous discussions and reforms regarding the subject matter. The Orientation program resulted in constructive discussion on Pedagogical innovations and helped in framing a right plan of action for the coming academic session.

Bajaj Institute of Management and Research proudly organized its 9th Annual Convocation for PGDM Batch 2016-18 on Friday, June 01, 2018 at Greater Noida Campus in which 119 students were awarded with Post Graduate Diploma in Management. The glittering award ceremony witnessed the participation of Shri Pankaj Singh, MLA, Noida & General Secretary – Uttar Pradesh for BJP as Chief Guest of the event along with the pioneering educationists Mr. Pankaj Agarwal, Vice-Chairman, GL Bajaj Educational Institutions & Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR.
Shri Pankaj Singh congratulated the rank holders & the graduating students and motivated the young managers to emerge as future corporate leaders and contribute actively towards nation building. The audience was enthralled by his arousing speech.

International Yoga Day Celebrated at GLBIMR
International Yoga Day Celebrated at GLBIMR on June 21, 2018 at its Greater Noida Campus
GL Bajaj Institute of Management & Research (GLBIMR), Greater Noida celebrated 4th International Day of Yoga on June 21, 2018 by organizing a yoga session at its campus. This initiative was taken under the astute guidance of Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR in harmony of the National Initiative. The session was taken up by Mr. S. Ravi Chandran, renowned yoga expert. He shared the importance & relevance of Yoga Sadhna & Yog Mudras and demonstrated various yoga Aasana’s to the Students, Faculty & Staff members of GLBIMR. Dr. Makkar in her speech reinforced the importance of healthy lifestyle and importance of adapting Yoga as a part of daily routine activity. She shared that Yoga can be of great help to fight corporate pressure and to de-stress which will help them in building a holistic personality.
This session sensitized students, faculty and staff members about the importance of yoga and to participate in this unique collective Yoga experience – with hundreds of people in the same movement, the same respiration, at the same time and in the same rhythm.
Everyone appreciated the session & pledged to make Yoga, an integral part of life.
