Objectives:
1. The movie premiere would take students inside deeply flawed, three-dimensional characters, whose key moments of achievement, betrayal, and illuminating realization might remind them of their own potential and weakness.
2. The movie will shed light on the little practical lessons of life and will help the students in taking cautionary lessons represented in the movie.

In continuation to the initiatives under Corporate Interface series, GLBIMR students, under the futuristic leadership of Mr. Pankaj Agarwal, Vice Chairman, GL Bajaj Educational Institutions and Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR Participated in AAJ TAK ” National Security Summit” on March 12, 2019.
The India Today Group organised Suraksha Sabha (National Security Summit) where heavyweights from the government spoke on the security situation in the country. The Aaj Tak Suraksha Sabha focused on India-Pakistan tensions which are high following the Indian Air Force airstrike on Balakot in Pakistan.
50 Students of PGDM Batch 2018–20 participated in the Summit at Hotel “The Oberoi” from 11:00 a.m to 9:00 pm. National Security Summit witnessed prominent Government Ministers, Defence Personnel and Eminent Personalities as key speakers including Mr. Amit Shah (President BJP ), Mr. Arun Jaitely (Minister of Finance) and Corporate Affairs, Mr. Rajnath Singh ( Minister of Home Affairs ), Ms. Nirmala Sitharaman ( Minister of Defence), Mr. Digvijay Singh ( Former Chief Minister), Former Chief of Army General Bikram Singh and Former Chief Air Marshal Anil Yashwant.
The event was a great exposure for students as it gave a view & understanding about the current security challenges after air strike, current condition & capability of security of the nation & about the Diplomatic, Economic & Military Relationships.
The event also provided them a wonderful opportunity to meet and interact with the Strong leaders, Ex- Defence Personnel & many stalwarts.The students also raised questions to experts. It was a highly engaging experience under the CIS Platform.

Continuing with the initiatives to develop the students holistically, as guided by the visionary leadership of Mr. Pankaj Agarwal, Vice Chairman, GL Bajaj Educational Institutions and Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR students Participated in PULSE (Annual Cultural Fest ) IMS, Ghaziabad, on March 16, 2019. The aim of introducing the students to this competition was to provide unique opportunity to acquire learning on managerial skills, leadership and the essence of team work. Besides this, students were also assessed for their business acumen. Through this competition, students got a chance to unleash their creative talents in various domains.
10 teams comprising of 15 students from GLBIMR participated in various events like SAAZ (Duet Singing), POETRY Competition, FACE painting, COUNTER STRIKE, Solo Dance and Digital Poster making.
Amid tough competition from other management institutes, Jatin Soni and Giriraj Sharma of PGDM 2018-20 Batch bagged 1st Prize in Digital Poster Competition, Mansi Kathayat and Giriraj Sharma won 2nd Prize in Face Painting Competition and Yogesh Sharaswat won 2nd Prize in Poetry Competition.
All the winners were awarded with a Trophy and Certificate of Appreciation. It was a highly engrossing and exciting learning platform for the students where they also bought back laurels for the institute. We congratulate the winners for their achievements.

Objectives of the debate competition:
1. To enhance student’s intellectual ability, quick thinking, and confidence in putting argument and speaking.
2. To provide an environment for practice in developing sound and logical arguments.
3. To test and eventually enhance students’ reasoning ability.

In the constant endeavor to provide maximum corporate exposure, GLBIMR organized Amazon Campus Engagement Initiative for providing real life hands on marketing experience to students. Amazon, in its search for Prime Ambassadors, searched for creative problem solvers and effective communicators who would represent the organization at their campus. Through the rigorous screening process consisting of case study analysis, interview and also a week long project, Supriya Anand of PGDM 2018-20 has been selected as the Ambassador of Amazon Prime at the institute. Heartiest congratulations to her for this special achievement that is worthy of its credit as she has won this prestigious accolade out of many participants from 10 other institutes. Alfresco Club of GLBIMR is organizing the “Tug Of War” (TOW) competition on Friday, March 29, 2019. “Tug Of War” will allow the participants not only to showcase their physical strength but also their mental coordination and team spirit.
The cooperation & rhythm of team members plays an equally important role in victory, if not more, than their physical strength. It’s not enough to have power, it’s important to know how to best harness it for our collective good. To win the commotion all the students will need mental fortitude to last the storm of completion and finally win.
