Alfresco – Art and Culture Club of GL Bajaj Institute of Management & Research, Greater Noida organized an event – ‘Rang Rangeela’ on Wednesday, March 04, 2020 in PGDM Auditorium, GLBIMR campus for the students of PGDM Batch 2019-21 under the visionary guidance of Dr. Ajay Kumar, Director, GLBIMR.
The objective of the club was to create a platform that provides the students an opportunity to display their creative talent in various ways and also to provide a venue for exploration of various aspects and exchange of ideas amongst the students.
The welcome address was delivered by Dr. Ajay Kumar, Director, GLBIMR in which he addressed the gathering and made them understand the relevance of Holi.
The club conducted different activities on the occasion of Holi with an aim to encourage students interest and participation in co-curricular areas. The students showcased their singing, dancing and acting abilities through various cultural programmes which incorporated fun amongst the gathering.
Overall, it was a highly engaging experience thoroughly enjoyed by the students.
Holi Celebration @ GLBIMR
All the faculty & staff members of GL Bajaj Institute of Management & Research, Greater Noida celebrated the Festival of Colours – Holi with full fervor, enthusiasm and vivacity on Friday, March 06, 2020 at GLBIMR campus under an initiative taken by Dr. Ajay Kumar, Director, GLBIMR.
Hon’ble Director Sir extended his warm Holi wishes to all which made the occasion more memorable for everyone present there. Everyone exchanged the warm wishes of Holi by applying colours to one another. Finally, the celebration ended with the serving of various delicacies amongst the gathering.
Expert Talk Series @ GLBIMR
GL Bajaj Institute of Management & Research, Greater Noida organized Expert Talk Series on ‘Think Beyond the Horizon: Student Leadership for Success’ by Dr. Kamlesh Misra, Vice Chancellor, Rishihood University on Tuesday, March 03, 2020 in PGDM Auditorium, GLBIMR campus for the students of PGDM Batch 2019-21 under the visionary guidance of Dr. Ajay Kumar, Director, GLBIMR.
The event started with lighting of ceremonial lamp and invocation of Goddess Saraswati. Dr. Ajay Kumar, Director, GLBIMR welcomed the guest by presenting sapling as a token of greeting. The welcome address was delivered by Dr. Ajay Kumar, Director, GLBIMR.
The objective of the session was to enable the students to recognize their capabilities and identify their strengths. The session prepared the managers of tomorrow for leading people with different behavioral traits and also increased their determination to move forward and succeed in life.
While addressing the students, Dr. Kamlesh Misra discussed various aspects of leadership. He told the students that leadership is the capacity to observe beyond the sight and look for opportunities. He also told them that leadership development is a lifelong and continuous process and also made them aware about developing the quality of reflective learning i.e. to think deeply about what you have already learnt. He also introduced the concept of KASH- Knowledge, Attitude, Skills & Hard work which directly affects the performance of an individual. He also emphasized that inspiring leaders are those who use their strengths to motivate individuals and teams to face any crisis situation.
Overall, it was a highly engaging and learning experience for the students. Finally, the session concluded with Vote of Thanks and the felicitation of the guest.
